Coffee and Cutbacks

April 20, 2015

A morning at Rincon always starts the same way... a quiet dirt path leading to the shore, the murmur of the sea slowly drifting into earshot, the famous Californian point break coming into view. Chances are a few fellow surfers might already be bobbing in anticipation, waiting for the perfect set. If you come early enough, you'll see a warm wash of light announce the coming of sunrise to the lingering chill of the previous night. Soon the sun will peek over the ridge and do its best to wake a sleepy coast. It'll try to wake you too, provided your coffee doesn't get to you first.
